Casa de Tortuga
We are finally getting settled in the Southeastern part of Pennsylvania, about 50 minutes Northwest of Philadelphia in the town of Telford, PA. We moved with our pared down herd of six Miniature La Mancha dairy goats from Tucson, Arizona to a nine acre farm surrounded by rolling pasture and forests. Now that the boxes are unpacked we can start working on our herd and goat milk!
We will be seeing how successful our breeding season has been with our new herd sire, Snickerdoodle. The three does expecting are Twila, Ellla and Penelope-Estelle. Check out our schedule page for their due dates!
Our does and buck all have negative CAE/CL test results from our October 2014 tests! We also have our fall breeding schedule lined up, so if you are interested in any offspring, please let us know!
Our does and buck are dual registered with the Miniature Dairy Goat Association and The Miniature Goat Registry! Our 2014 breeding season has started and the babies will be able to be registered with each association.
We'd like to introduce our herd sire, Enchanted Hill Snickerdoodle. He is a charming buckling from Enchanted Hill Miniature La Mancha Dairy Goats in Bent Mountain, Virginia. He has a wonderful temperament, outstanding conformation and a great pedigree. We are excited to see his offspring next year!
Check out our Facebook page -- We'll be adding more photos of our newest addition! If you are interested in a Mini Mancha of your own, or if you have any questions, drop us an email or give us a call.
