Our cherished foundation doe, Jolly Roger All That Jazz, affectionately known as Jasmine, hails from the outstanding lineage of Jolly Rogers Goats. Her line boasts an impressive record: a 1x Grand Champion Junior, 1x Grand Champion Senior, and 2x Best Udder. Throughout the years, Jasmine has exceeded our expectations as a milk producer and mother. When in milk, she consistently yielded over 4 pounds of milk through once-a-day milking, reaching an impressive peak of over 6 pounds during her prime. Notably, Jasmine showcases remarkable endurance, gracefully 'milking through' for multiple years without the need for freshening. A true workhorse in her own right, she has contributed immensely to our herd. Now retired from her breeding and milking duties, Jasmine relaxes with her goat companions.

She is the daughter of Casa de Tortuga Pascal, who traces his lineage back to our foundation doe, Jolly Rogers All That Jazz. Jazz, known as Jasmine on the farm, has been known for her remarkable milk production. Sonora embodies an elegant dairy form, hinting at the potential for greatness within her. Her lineage, stemming from exceptional milking aptitude, fuels our anticipation for the yield she will offer. We eagerly await the dairy contributions Sonora will bring to our herd.

Three Hearts JD Cinnamon, a spirited and graceful doe from the Trout family's Three Hearts Farm, is a standout addition to our herd. Her striking dairy conformation is matched by her playful nature. Cinnamon’s dam, Three Hearts ST Calico, has an impressive show record, earning Best Udder under both judges and Grand Champion under one in a recent live MDGA show. Additionally, her half-sister claimed Reserve Junior Champion under one judge. Bred to Casa de Tortuga Banjo, Cinnamon is due to kid in March 2025, and we eagerly anticipate the arrival of her promising offspring.

Whimsy Mini Nubians Grace is a charming blue-eyed doeling purchased from Whimsy Mini Nubians. With a polled, ADGA-registered sire and an ADGA-registered LaMancha dam, she has an excellent pedigree. Meet Ophelia, the lovely daughter of Casa De Tortuga Jenkins and Jolly Rogers All That Jazz (Jasmine). Ophelia showcases the same dairy characteristics that we cherish in her mother. Much like her mother and half-sister Ella, Ophelia's milk is very delicious and great for cheese making. Despite a slightly timid nature, Ophelia is great on the milk stand, demonstrating a sweetness that makes her easy to handle. This sweet little doe also has a well-attached udder reminiscent of her grand dam, Jolly Roger Twila. In addition to her outstanding milking traits, Ophelia carries on the family tradition of "milking through," a characteristic she shares with her grandmother Jasmine. Beyond her contributions to our dairy endeavors, Ophelia excels as a nurturing mother to her kids.
